ComboTIFF v1.0.2 Released

This version addresses the issue of the wrong detection of the Photometric settings for TIFF CCITT G2 format and improves sorting of filename with non-padded zeros.

This fix is for both the Mac and Windows version of ComboTIFF

CM TIFF 2 PDF v1.0.1 Released

In this new update, we fixed two bugs. One is the handling of CCITT G2 Photometric settings where some images come with black text and white background and others are set with white text and black background. It appears that there is no real one way about it.

The other is better file name sort handling. In the prior version if you have file names like “1,2 and 10”, if you sort, it will show up as “1,10 and 2” since the sort is done by text order which is correct. However numbers are numbers and we added support to evaluate that part of the file names as numbers and not as text.

CM Note Keeper is now available on the Mac App Store

CM Note Keeper was just accepted in the Mac App Store a couple of hours ago and we have updated the links on the description page at this website. It took Apple a while to get this approved and they are currently listing v1.0.0 while our website is hosting the latest v1.0.1 .

The updates have been submitted to the Mac App Store for their review. Hope they are faster with this update then with the other updates we made.

Web It v2.62 Released

We have just updated Web It v2.62 to support Windows 7. At the same time, we have removed the customized theme causes issues on some set up. The program now stores default settings in the System Registry as Windows no longer permits saving files in the Program Files folder. As such, you will need to reload your settings in the program.

For all existing users, you may be prompted to re-enter your registration details during start up. Just enter it and it would work. We had to make changes to how the keys are stored to support the Windows 7 platform.

CM Note Keeper v1.0.1 with Dropbox Support

We are pleased to announce the release of CM Note Keeper for both Mac and Windows which supports the popular Dropbox online sync service. All you need to do is to install the Dropbox app, sign up for an account with them (free for up to 2gb of space) and then just point the Export To settings to that virtual folder. Each time you save a new note or update an existing one, it will be made available on Dropbox which in turn can be used by any of your computer and mobile devices which has Dropbox installed.

As Dropbox is not hardcoded to CM Note Keeper, you can use the export feature to save an extra copy of the text file version of your notes in a separate folder or with any virtual folder service like MobileMe.

You can now Import and Export the Notes with and without our tags. Our tagging system tags the respective fields so that you can import them directly into CM Note Keeper on any platform which it supports without having to enter any details again. The tags are easy to understand and you can tag your own tag files with your favorite text editor and import them into CM Note Keeper.
